I don’t have an awful lot of information on the Eteson
family. The one bit I do have is quite interesting though.
Alfred Eteson was the Surgeon General to the Indian Army at
the end of the 19th Century and I have two volumes of
household records of his between 1901 and 1905 giving the
household expenses and one giving a diary of household
events.
There is obituary of Alfred Eteson in the archives of the British Medical Journal
from February 1910.
I also have a partial family tree for drawn up, I
believe, by my grandfather, and a rather more complete tree that was kindly sent
to me by Ken Shields, and finally a tree drawn up in 1909 by Adela
Eteson.
